Roxxon Oil resurrects the Sunturion Project, this time with a California-girl with the microwave powers! She's an old-fashioned do-gooder, however, and she has some reservations about enacting Roxxon's dirty pool schemes! She finagles her way around the company's fail-safe measures, and then proceeds to perform "good" deeds around the world -- which Iron Man must oppose! And, of all people, Sunturion himself reappears!
