U.S. WAR MACHINE vol. 2 #10
(January 2002) "Book 1: Chapter 10." Story: Chuck Austen. Art: Chuck Austen, Wild and Wooly Press and NIC Entertainment. Layout: Victor Lopez. Associate Producer: Jeremy Lambros.
The issue begins with Tony Stark at the opening of a new Stark Industries branch...and someone tries to "off" him while calling him a racist! Stark is saved by his Iron Men, notably Happy Hogan, but Hogan's disarming of the gunman is overdone! Whoops. Elsewhere, The US War Machine Team continues its assault on the AIM base! Once again, the CG armored action is way-cool. The search for the AIM biotoxin continues, and it looks like conehead scientists have a plan to eliminate every race on the planet except caucasian!
Hube's Recommendation: USWM patches!
TJ's Response: Darkhawk's dementia being part of an actual Avengers West Coast story is too much fun! Rhodes is forced to break from DH's delusional path to actually participate in the mission. Fortunately for him, DH decides to play along. A great sub-plot in a great story!
TJ's Recommendation: 4 USWM patches!
