TOS 49 "Meets the Angel!"

The Angel of the X-Men is flying over Stark Industries where Iron Man is trying to wave off the Angel due to a nuclear test that is about to take place. Iron Man is shielded by his armor, but the Angel takes a heavy dose of radioactivity and changes his personality to evil. The Angel taunts Iron Man as he out flies him. Iron Man's boot jets are over taxed and cut off. He plummets and uses his magnetic repulsors to slow his fall and prevent his death. The Angel reaches the other X-Men and quits the team threatening to join the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. The team tries to stop him, but the Angel flies rings around them. The X-Men reach out to the Avengers to stop Angel, but only Iron Man is available. Angel steals some dynamite and makes noise which has the authorities out. Iron Man asks for 10 minutes to try and talk to Angel. They tussle and Angel tries to get away. Iron Man gives a full thrust of his boot jets and grabs Angel high into the sky until his jets cut out and falls. This shocks Angel into saving Iron Man just in time and turning back into his normal self. The X-Men thank Iron Man and offer their services if he needs help. Professor X also sends a mental thank you and promises to repay the good deed.
