TOS #63 "Somewhere Lurks the Phantom!"

Iron Man back at the office are greeted coldly by Pepper and Happy. He tells them to give him some privacy and heads to the office and lab. Tony has devised a master transistor that can keep his heart beating without his armor and only his chest piece allowing Tony Stark to live again! Tony comes out of the office and reveals he is alive and says he's engaged to a woman from Boston. As everyone is excited to see Anthony Stark, the Phantom plants a time bomb in the factory. Iron Man shows up and investigates. He finds it seems to be an inside job and the next 4 days has just as many mishaps. Unions threaten to strike, military threaten to intervene, congress threatens to remove military contracts. Iron Man's built in radar stumbles upon Happy who sees the Phantom. Iron Man catches up with the Phantom as he gets to the moon missile. He reaches the capsule, but Iron Man flies up to the capsule and takes it off the rocket. He drops the Phantom out of the rocket and returns it to the missile. It was Birch, the employee who was always needing more time. He became envious of Stark and Iron Man wanting more and more attention. Pepper and Happy borrow a car to paint the town, and Tony Stark is lonely again with the world at his feet.
