Iron Man survives the blast from the mine field. Iron Man flies out of the mine field as onlookers think he's fleeing in fear. He turns to face the Titanium Man but IM's left boot jet was damaged in the mine field. Bullski pounces on this discovery. The Radar rings of the Titanium Man now strangle Iron Man. Iron Man suddenly escapes the rings and uses his suit to give TM a chemical bath. The chemicals produce a fiery reaction. While Titanium Man rolls around Iron Man gets close thinking he's used too much, but Boris catches Tony with a sucker punch. As Iron Man gets thrown around. The Contessa goes to Stark's hotel to find a miniaturized device and takes it with her thinking she can use it later to manipulate Tony Stark. IM and TM slug it out until the first round ends, and they both get a break. Titanium Man seeks a new strategy as Iron Man has survived his best attacks. Iron Man flees to the hotel where he sees his reverser invention is gone and Stephanie took it because she leaves behind a kerchief. Iron Man flies Happy off to tell him to get the device from the Countess. Happy gets it and heads out to the battle field. Iron Man avoids the disintegrator ray. His chest killing him. Iron Man uses a proton gun to damage Titanium Man but not enough. Happy reaches the two. Iron Man looks away and then Titanium Man attacks. Iron Man just barely turns in time, but the ray glances off and hits Happy. Happy gives the reverser ray to Iron Man as he begins to die. Pepper faints. Iron Man in a rage turns to Titanium Man!
