TOS #99 "At the Mercy of the Maggia"

Iron Man is on the ground betrayed by Tony Stark's cousin Morgan Stark. Whiplash is the executioner for the Maggia and had Iron Man down. Iron Man is almost out of power. He uses his emergency booster supply to attack. That attack knocks out Whiplash, then Iron Man grabs his chest and passes out. Jasper Sitwell gets a tip from Nick Fury and heads out to find Morgan Stark at the airport. Jasper gets Morgan to talk and Sitwell heads to a gambling ship. Meanwhile Whiplash begins to awaken to destroy Iron Man. Big M - the big boss of the Maggia orders Whiplash to spare Iron Man for his devices. Iron Man is magnetized to a table and a laser begins to bore through Iron Man's helmet, when BOOM! A submarine A.I.M. vessel hits the ship causing it to rupture and flood. As the Maggia flee, Iron Man is left on the magnetized table to drown.
