Iron Man is in the heart of a flame, his armor taking the heat. He escapes and is attacked by lasers. He fights back. We find Iron Man is the basement of Stark International testing the armor. His last test is of the sonic device that took over the Armor. He rebuilt it to see if it takes over his armor. His improved refractory coating defeated the sonic mechanism. Tony finds that his dinner engagement with Iron Man was cancelled due to the Carnelian Ambassador incident. Mrs. Arbogast goes home for the night. Tony goes for a walk and give a panhandler 20 bucks. But, he is taking notes on when Tony arrives. Tony meets Beth at her office and takes her to the Playboy Club. He meets Nikki Lilling who asks for a Merger. Tony introduces her to his date Bethany Cabe. Meanwhile at the Lion's Club, Rodney Dangerfield is up when the Titanium Man crashes the party.
