(July, 1980) "The Beginning of the Endotherm!"

Tony and Sybil Charmichal, a publisher in London, exit a 747. And they set up a date for tomorrow at Pomeroy's. Tony takes a cab to the London Branch of Start International. Tony meet Tom who retires in 2 weeks but is under investigation. Tom Wilkins walks away bitter of potentially losing his 30 year pension. Tony investigates the problems going on and they have no apparent connection. Then, the room suddenly goes from 65 to 41 degrees. Endotherm attacks creating a blizzard. Tony loses his sight and radar to find him. He uses his skates and loses his balance. Endotherm creates a snowstorm and releases heat which cause an explosion. He leaves Iron Man on the floor and gets away because he can't find Tony Stark. The next day, Tony postpones his date/meeting with Sybil due to frostbite on his fingers. He runs into Tom who is bitter and says he is quitting. Endotherm attacks again. Iron Man has a coating of Ice as a means to cover his armor. It frustrates Endotherms attacks. Iron Man defeats him. He removes the mask, and it is Tom, who lost his sanity worrying about his pension. Now his pension will pay his mental problem bills.
