Rhodey puts on the Iron Man armor to fight Magma and the indestructible vehicle he is in destroying Stark Industries. Tony is passed out drunk after drinking a quart of booze. Rhodey enlists Morley's technical help to figure out how to fly and use the repulsors. Rhodey has had no training, but the world needs an Iron Man. He gets beat down by the vehicle until Stane sends the Knight unbeknownst to Rhodey to help preserve the Stark property. Magma gets inside and sees a drunk Tony Stark without clothes stumbling about. Rhodey as Iron Man defeats him. Rhodey has a talk with Tony who ignores him. Then Rhodey calls Avengers' Mansion to have Iron Man quit the Avengers.
