Iron Man has just delivered Thundersword to jail and holds his former weapon. He reimagines himself and breaks out. Iron Man, Rhodey, confronts him. He escapes. Iron Man heads to Circuits Maximus. Bethany finally reaches Tony by phone and is kidnapped while talking. Tony takes the old armor and goes after her. Rhodey asks Tony to stay and help face Thundersword. Tony refuses and goes to help Bethany. Tony arrives but the copter is too fast for him to keep up in the old armor. He goes and helps Rhodey. He has Rhodey as Iron Man lead Thundersword to a nuclear reactor and charges the Iron Man armor with his new chest armor and channels the energy to repel Thundersword and then to channel it into one huge punch. He disappears.
