In Friedrich's swan song, Iron Man finds himself in the middle of an attempted coup in the Black Lama's (revealed last issue as "King Jerald of the Kingdom of Grand Rapids") dimension. While Shellhead fights dimensional-imbalance madness as he struggles to return himself and Firebrand to their home dimension, the readers fight a different mad-ness at what must be the most lengthy, colossally lame and disappointing shaggy dog story in Marvel's history. This battle of the super-villains had incredible potential, and all we got was an alternate Nelson Rockefeller trying to oust Gerald Ford.
