Iron Man is flying with Jasper Sitwell of S.H.I.E.L.D. back from Washington and Iron Man's suit is in rough shape when he comes to smoke coming out of Stark's plant. An intruder in the restricted section, turns out to be the new Guardsman. He attacks Iron Man. Iron Man runs out of charge, barely makes it to the lab to recharge and resumes the fight. He defeats Michael in the Guardsman armor.
