Long-time Stark confidante Happy Hogan has suffered grievous injuries after he stopped Spymaster's machinations last issue! Is he ... brain dead? It would appear so as Pepper pleads for Tony to put 'ol Hap out of misery (Pep relates to Tony how Happy told her that he never wanted to end up like a brain-damaged boxer friend of his.) indicating that with Tony's new "Extremis" powers all he'd have to do is "think it." Tony refuses, saying it would be "murder." Later, Stark demands to meet Capt. America alone in Yankee Stadium to determine if his band of rebels had anything to do with Hogan's injuries. Suddenly, Cap's rebel band mounts a surprise rescue/attack! Neat action sequence follows as Iron Man demonstrates (in classic IM fashion, I might add!) how friggin' smart he is by making Spider-Man (and fellow genius Pete Parker) look foolish -- IM had analyzed Spidey's spider-sense and now knows how to fool it! Afterwards, an invisible Sue Richards materializes in front of Stark, stating that she had "shadowed" Tony all day. She berates him for not agreeing to Pepper's request ... whereupon later Stark recites the Lord's Prayer and then ... Happy's EKG flat-lines! End of an era??

Hube's Recommendation:                    3 repulsors!
